Welcome to Virtual Pilots Down Under. Australian base Virtual Airlines.

We trust you will enjoy the vast number of routes and scheduled airlines that we have to offer.
Now you're on board. Remember to visit and read thru the Resources Tab here you will find what is required to fly on our system.
Firstly, download the Pegasus component and
Secondly ensure you have the latest FSUIPC for simulation you are using.

Once this is done you are then able to go book your first flight.
Load your chosen sim and load Pegasus which open separately. (Now if Pegasus did not respond did FSUIPC start.)
Once loaded at gate in your chosen Flight Simulator.
Remember to press Connect on vAMSYS Pegasus application before starting up or ensure you stationary with no movement if you forget. Data should begin to populate with Pegasus application, indicating it is being received by the tracking system.

Simple things to follow as follows:

  1. Whenever one books and flies any of the Scheduled airlines that we have obtained you must use the correct Livery and/or Aircraft type for the select airline if Rego is known try and match it best you can.
Example using Singapore livery on a Qantas route should be avoided. (Flagged and points removed or invalidated)

Unsure please use the Charter defaults VPD/DU Oceanic Routes or GXA/G6 for worldwide routes.
This will ensure no points or bonus point loss.

  2. Keep landing rate under -650 fpm too stay valid.

  3. Read thru the scoring categories via the Documents tab > Scores.

  4. Any issue with any flight, please make a comment or reply on the Pirep of flight flown.

  5. Ensure the flaps are set prior to takeoff off and when landing that the taxi speed is less than 30 knots before raising. Taxi speeds are not monitored yet, but you will lose points if retracting flaps above 30 knots, Notam will follow once taxi speeds are reapplied. Watch your pitch any pitch greater than 15 degrees may require a response from pilot,

  6. Like all Virtual Airlines. You must never increase sim rate, slew and no midair flight refueling.
This will only reject or invalidate your flight. You will be prompted to leave a pilot response, and the team will see to it.

  7. Try to keep flying as regular as you can. (Start one of the events.)

  8. Enjoy have fun and join discord and join in once comfortable.

  9. Please only crate and use one account.

There is a wealth of knowledge within our discord on a majority of aircraft and most simulator related questions.

You can join discord for free and be part our social activities or drop any suggestions for future flights in the appropriate section or request a route. This is the best form communication allows all staff members worldwide to respond.

Due to simulator limitations, we have opened all schedule fleets on scheduled routes.
Example. Flying with Qantas you can select any Qantas fleet/aircraft on any Qantas route.
Just be sure you are able to make the distance and indeed you are able to land at the destination.
(Due to this you may get flagged for Aircraft/Livery or aircraft registration mismatch, 98% of time carry on as no response is required thou it may pop up).

For more information if needed visit the FAQs from the Dashboard for detailed information.

I/We of this great community occasionally visit our local Australian major airports. We are an enthusiastic community with a shared interest in, and you may have run into us at some point.
I frequently visit Sydney Airport. Who knows you may spot me or others in our group at Shep's Mound or in the carpark of Airservices's (The Beach).

Thank you for choosing and flying with us
