Pilot Rules

1. General Membership

  • Eligibility: Members must be at least 16 years old and have a genuine interest in flight simulation.

  • Single Account Policy: Only one account per pilot is permitted. Duplicate accounts will lead to immediate suspension or termination.

  • Activity Requirements: Pilots must log at least one flight per 90 days to remain active unless they are on approved leave.


2. Community Conduct

  • Respect and Professionalism: All members must treat others with courtesy. Harassment, hate speech, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Language: English is the official language for all communication within VACA platforms.

  • Community Platforms: Pilots must adhere to the rules of VACA’s official Discord and forums. Moderator decisions are final.


3. Flight Operations

  • Supported Simulators: VACA supports Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), X-Plane, and Prepar3D (P3D).

  • ACARS Usage: All flights must be logged using VACA’s ACARS tracking system unless otherwise approved.

  • SimBrief Integration: Pilots are encouraged to plan flights using SimBrief for realism and accuracy.

  • Aircraft Policy: Flights must use aircraft types listed in the VACA fleet with realistic liveries when available.

  • Scheduling: Flights should follow real-world routes and schedules provided in the system.

  • Flight Requirements: Minimum flight time is 30 minutes. Slew mode, time compression, or unrealistic behavior may void the flight.

  • PIREPs: Manual or automatic flight reports are subject to review for realism and accuracy.


4. Ranks & Promotions

  • Pilot Ranks: VACA offers a structured rank system based on hours flown and performance.

  • Review Process: Inaccurate or questionable flights may be rejected and subject to administrative review.

  • Leave of Absence: Pilots may request an LOA if they need a break while maintaining their status.


5. Discipline & Enforcement

  • VACA staff reserve the right to issue warnings, suspend, or remove members for violations of these terms or community rules.

  • Appeals must be submitted to the staff team via [email protected] and will be reviewed case-by-case.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Air Canada or any other real-world airline or corporation. All trademarks and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

  • VACA collects only the necessary information required for operational and community purposes.

  • Your data will never be sold or shared with third parties.

  • By registering, you consent to receive updates related to your VACA account and virtual airline activities.


8. Privacy, Terms & Communications Consent

Acceptance of Policies: By registering for and joining VACA (Virtual Air Canada Airlines), pilots confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies:

Consent to Communications: By joining VACA, pilots agree that VACA may send them virtual airline–related communications, including but not limited to operational updates, event announcements, policy changes, and account-related notifications via email.

Opt-Out Option: Pilots may opt out of non-essential email communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option included in emails or by contacting VACA staff. Essential account and operational communications may still be sent when necessary.

Data Usage Assurance: VACA collects only the information required for operational, administrative, and community purposes. Personal data will never be sold or shared with third parties.
