Use your existing vAMSYS account to sign in. In Vantage, expand Learning → Docs to find the VOZ SOP and reference documents. Open Learning → Training for your assigned course, training documents and progress.

Vantage handles your VOZ operational workflow; vAMSYS and your flight tracker continue to handle the booking and flight-recording side.

One account. Your own crew record.

1. Open Vantage and choose Continue with vAMSYS. Sign-in stays with vAMSYS; no separate Vantage password is needed.
2. On first-time onboarding, select your base aircraft type. This starts your familiarisation pathway and provisional privileges for that aircraft, not an unrestricted type rating.
3. Check My Profile and Training for your status, assigned documents, required sectors and exact deadline.

New entrants start at Brisbane (YBBN), with their location aligned in Vantage and vAMSYS.

Already checked with VOZ? Contact Training Staff if your previous check or rating is missing. Staff can recognise documented legacy checks; do not start a duplicate rating request.

30 days for LIFUS and your line check. This is a rolling 30-day window from the start of familiarisation, not a calendar month. Your exact deadline is shown in Vantage.

1. Read the assigned training documents and complete the required LIFUS sectors (Line Flying Under Supervision).
2. After LIFUS is complete, Vantage assigns your line check. Coordinate with Training Staff early: it must be completed within the same 30-day window.

• Passed: your membership is confirmed and you progress to First Officer.
• Failed: normal flying is blocked and one 15-day remedial/retry window begins. Further failures do not restart that window.
• No completed check by the deadline: membership ends in Vantage and vAMSYS. Outstanding check evidence awaiting Staff assessment is reviewed before removal.

Do not wait until day 30 to ask for help. Contact Training Staff as soon as a problem arises.

Start each flight in Vantage.

1. Roster: plan your duties and select your next eligible flight. Follow your assigned training pathway during familiarisation.
2. Dispatch: complete the checks, confirm the aircraft and resolve any blocking items before booking.
3. Booking: Vantage hands the selected flight to vAMSYS. Follow the hand-off; do not create a second booking manually.
4. Flight Pack: review the details, then record your flight with the supported vAMSYS flight tracker.
5. After landing: submit your PIREP, complete any required post-flight declaration and review your Logbook and Training progress.

Need to reposition? Use the Vantage jump-seat option where available, so your location remains aligned with vAMSYS.

Good habits from your first sector

In Vantage → Learning → Docs, open and read the VOZ SOP and reference documents. Your assigned aircraft training documents and course progress are under Learning → Training. No pause, slew, time acceleration or unauthorised aircraft substitutions. Your first PIREP remains due within 14 days; this is separate from the 30-day familiarisation deadline.

Tickets are private to you and Staff. Personal training discussions belong in your private ticket or Training area, not a public channel. Closed tickets are read-only.

Keep progressing

After familiarisation, use Vantage → Learning → Training to request additional aircraft ratings and follow the assigned course. Review My Profile → Licences & type ratings in Vantage for your qualifications and next recurrent line-check date. Stay current with your annual check; additional variants may require differences training.
