Rules & Regulations
## 1. Membership & Registration
Real Identity: All pilots must register using their real first and last names. Nicknames or callsigns as names are not permitted.
Minimum Age: Applicants must be at least 15 years of age to ensure a mature environment.
One Account Policy: Each user is permitted only one account. Duplicate accounts will be terminated.
Valid Email: You must maintain a valid, active email address for communication and account security.
## 2. Flight Operations & Realism
Flight Tracking: All flights must be logged using our official ACARS software. Manual PIREPs (Pilot Reports) are only accepted in the event of a documented software crash.
Time Compression: Time compression (simulation rate acceleration) is strictly prohibited. All flights must be flown in 1:1 real-time.
Callsigns: Pilots should use their assigned MSRVA Pilot ID (e.g., MSR1234) or the real-world flight number during operations.
Flight Rules: All flights must be conducted under IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) unless a specific VFR event or tour is being flown.
Online Networks: While we encourage flying on VATSIM or IVAO, it is not mandatory. However, if flying online, you must adhere to that network's specific code of conduct.
## 3. Inactivity & Leave (LOA)
First Flight: New pilots must file their first flight within 14 days of registration approval.
Currency Requirement: Pilots are required to file at least one flight every 30 days to remain active.
Inactivity Status: Accounts that fall inactive will be moved to the "Inactive" roster. After 60 days of inactivity, the account may be deleted.
Leave of Absence (LOA): If you cannot fly for an extended period, you may request an LOA via the Crew Center for up to 90 days.
## 4. Code of Conduct (Community)
Professionalism: Pilots are representatives of EgyptAir Virtual. Treat all members, staff, and other pilots on public networks with respect.
Zero Tolerance: Harassment, racism, or discrimination of any kind will result in an immediate and permanent ban.
Conflict Resolution: Any disputes with staff or other pilots should be handled privately via the support ticket system, not in public Discord channels.
Real-World Issues: Our community is a place for aviation simulation. Discussion of real-world politics or sensitive social issues is prohibited in official channels.
## 5. Rank & Progression
Hours Transfer: We accept up to 50 hours from other VAs or VATSIM/IVAO networks upon registration (must provide proof/link to profile).
Fleet Access: Pilots must only fly aircraft for which they are ranked. Logging a flight in an unauthorized aircraft will result in an automatic PIREP rejection.
