What is Pegasus? It is our in-house flight tracking software, also known as ACARS. It allows you to record your flight and submit it as a PIREP.
Do not rewind or replay your flight while Pegasus is running and recording your flight. These functions are not video replays and will negatively effect your PIREP by recording your flight path and/or landing multiple times. Submit your PIREP prior to reviewing your flight.
Do not start the recording of your flight before your sim is fully loaded. Please wait for it to finish loading and only then start recording. Otherwise your start location might be recorded over null island.
System Requirements & Compatibility
Operating Systems:
Windows 10 or later
macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later - Apple and Intel CPUs supported
All modern x64 Linux distributions
Supported Simulators:
Microsoft Flight Simulator - 2004 and onwards
Prepar3D - versions 1 to 5
X-Plane - versions 10 to 12
Additional Requirements
Windows Users:
You must install latest and compatible version of FSUIPC for your simulator. Free version is sufficient.
If you use X-Plane, no additional downloads are needed - Pegasus connects to X-Plane via UDP.
Pegasus, FSUIPC and your Sim should not be run in Admin mode, unless absolutely necessary. Alternatively, everything must be run as Admin - Pegasus, FSUIPC and the Sim. If Pegasus cannot detect your FSUIPC running, ensure FSUIPC/Sim is not running as admin.
macOS / Linux Users:
You must install latest version of .NET Runtime 9 before running Pegasus; Failure to install it will result in Pegasus not launching.
Linux Users - you may need to chmod +x the downloaded AppImage for it to run.
